Match the Profile and Coil Specification
A gutter shape alone does not define the machine. Material grade, thickness, edge details and hole positions determine the forming and tooling discussion.
| Machine route | Material | Thickness |
|---|---|---|
| Optional-punching line | Galvanized steel (GI) | 0.25–0.55 mm |
| Portable roll former | GI, PPGL, aluminum | 0.3–0.6 mm |
| YX132-172 line | 201 stainless steel | 0.5–0.8 mm |
Different materials at the same thickness are not interchangeable specifications. Include material grade and strength, coating, coil width and coil weight with your profile.

- For the section: width, depth, lips, hem or curl details, bend radii and required tolerances.
- For each order: finished length, quantity and any punching pattern.

Evaluate Output and Finished Gutter Quality
Compare production using your normal gutter lengths and hole pattern. Coil changes, cutting cycles and finished-part handling affect how much usable product leaves the line.
- Shape and straightness: check the section and a representative finished length.
- Cut ends and surface: inspect burrs, distortion and marks on coated material.
- Holes and fit: compare hole positions and the mating detail your gutter requires.
State output as acceptable finished pieces for a defined order, alongside the material and operating conditions.
Build an Order-Based QuotationWhat Should Your Gutter Machine Quotation Include?
Use the same production requirement when comparing offers. List each item as included, optional or provided by your team.
| Purchase area | What to specify | Keep clear in the quote |
|---|---|---|
| Forming machine & tooling | Finished profile, material range, cutting method, control system and required punching. | Included equipment & options |
| Coil feeding & output | Decoiler capacity, coil dimensions, loading arrangement and support for your longest gutters. | Capacity & handling scope |
| Handover & support | Inspection arrangement, manuals, training, spare parts and installation responsibilities. | Documents & service terms |
| Delivery & commercial terms | Packing, destination, freight responsibility, installation charges and the quoted production schedule. | Price, schedule & delivery basis |
A useful price comparison covers the machine and the equipment, services and delivery required to put it into production.
Request a Configuration QuoteCheck Layout, Power and Material Handling
The available floor area should accommodate material movement and finished gutters as well as the machine itself.
Coil loading
Access for lifting, coil storage and the selected loading arrangement.
Feeding & forming
Machine footprint, material travel and operator access.
Cutting or punching
Space and access for the functions included in your configuration.
Finished output
Support and handling space for the longest gutter you produce.
Conceptual material flow. The selected configuration determines the installation dimensions.
For workshop production
Prepare a layout with coil-loading access, operator clearance and the path for finished pieces. Record site voltage, frequency and phase.
For onsite production
List transport and lifting arrangements, stable operating space, coil handling and actual site power. Specify any generator or trailer requirement as part of the equipment scope.
Review the Machine and Finished Profile Before Ordering
Use the machine configuration, your drawing and representative output together when setting the acceptance requirement.

Define the drawing, material and representative lengths that will be evaluated.
Plan buyer or third-party factory inspection before shipment. Set the trial and inspection arrangement in the order.
List the measured features, supplied components, operating documents and agreed acceptance records.

Yes. Start with a dimensioned sketch, profile photographs or an existing gutter sample description. Include the material, thickness and finished lengths. BMS can help discuss and sketch the profile for machine selection.
The selected machines use specific profile configurations. List every section you need separately, including edge details and dimensions, so the quotation can define the tooling and any profile-change arrangement.
Include your coil width, inside and outside diameter, maximum coil weight and material specification. Also describe the existing feeding controls and finished-piece supports. These details determine whether the equipment can be included in the proposed setup.
